Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate autogenous bone gafts in block or particulated repair through the histological and immunohistochemical analyses. Forty adult male rats (Rattus norvegicus albinus, Wistar)will receive two bone defects of 5 mm diameter in calvaria. Defects will constitute 3 experimental groups: Control Group (blood clot); BAB Group (Block autogenous bone) and PAB Group (Particulated autogenous bone). The animals will be sacrificed at 2, 7, 15, 30 and 60 days and through the observation of the proteins that participate in the repair process we will analyze the celular response of osseoinduction (cbfa1, colagen 1 e bmp2), vascularization (vegf), resorption (rank,rank-l, opg) and mineralization (osteocalcin).
