Influence of the rootstock on the cultivar Niagara Rosada grown in the regions East and Northeast of São Paulo State

Abstract

The project aims to assess the influence of different rootstocks in Niagara Rosada grape grown in the municipalities of Jundiaí, Louveira and Votuporanga. The experiments will be conducted from June 2009 to June 2011. In Louveira and Jundiaí will be assessed the rootstocks IAC 766, IAC 572, IAC 313, IAC 571-6 and Riparia of Traviú. In Votuporanga will be assessed the rootstocks IAC 766, IAC 572, IAC 313, and IAC 571-6. The experimental design will be randomized complete blocks. In each production cycle, will be evaluated weekly the phenological stage and, at the time of full flowering, leaf sampling for chemical analysis of nutrients. At harvest will assess the number of clusters per plant, productivity, physical characteristics of the clusters and berries, the contents of total soluble solids, acidity and pH. Also estimated is the extraction of nutrients by the clusters and the branches removed by pruning. Seeks to know in each region of cultivation, the effect of the rootstock on productivity, physical characteristics of the clusters and berries, in phenology, in nutrition and post harvest of Niagara Rosada grapevine. The data of extraction of nutrients by the clusters and branches removed by pruning can be used to assist in the fertilization of replacement Vineyard. (AU)
