A new species of the Bothrops neuwiedi complex (Serpentes, Viperidae) from Central Brazil with comments on the systematics of the group

Abstract

Phyllomedusa - Journal of Herpetology is a scientific journal that publishes original articles, short communications and book reviews on all aspects of amphibian and reptile biology and is not geographically limited. It is the first Brazilian journal dedicated exclusively to Herpetology, but it is international in circulation.It is currently clasified as Internacional C by the Ciências Biológicas 1 committee of CAPES. Our intention is contribute to the development of this important scinece by creating and maintaining a vehicle that shows new data and discusses new interpretations of problems related to these taxa. Only contributions in English are accepted, with abstratcts in English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, Italian, or German. PHYLLOMEDUSA is in its sixth year of uninterrupted publication, and it received finacial support from CNPq and several other institutions. The journal is a publication of Universidade de São Paulo, Departamento de Ciências Biológicas, Escola Superior de Agricultura “Luiz de Queiroz”. (AU)
