Abstract

There is a lack on the market today of a technology which can indicate what a user does after his authentication and authorization to enter a system. It is not known whether he uses it effectively or appropriately, nor is it known how much his processing of data costs the company. The objective of this project is to create a new technology capable of tracking the user’s behavior in a particular application. To achieve this, an experimental approach will be used, in which various data-capturing techniques will be employed to create the user personality in a system. Given the large amount of data to be stored, it will be necessary to use advanced techniques of data storage and compression. The expected result is a prototype which demonstrates that the technology developed is able to detect a divergence in the user’s behavior. In this way, it will be possible to avoid the loss of resources and enable swifter preventative and/or corrective actions in the case of improper access or fraud, minimizing the negative impacts the company could suffer.
