Abstract
The qualification of nursing practices includes the standardization of language, which allows better organization and systematization of activities and puts the work under observation in an orderly way, thus favoring its refinement and transformation constants. In the case of child health, highlight the growth and development has a key role, given its relationship to health. However, the analysis of both the NANDA-1 (North American Nursing Diagnosis Association - International) as the ICNP (International Classification of Nursing Practice), we observe that the term development is used loosely and not very clear, with a focus on situations of deficit or risk. This complicates the selection of appropriate diagnoses and not conducive to the definition of appropriate actions to promote health. Thus, it is proposed to carry out investigations which help to guide properly the nurse during the selection of interventions to maintain and promote child development. The subproject 1, Child development: concept analysis, aims to perform analysis of the concept of the term child development and to propose a diagnostic statement about child development for the classifications of nursing diagnoses NANDA-1. The subproject 2, Construction of a catalog CIPE on the monitoring of child development in primary health care, aims to develop a catalog CIPE on monitoring the development of children 0-2 years in primary healthcare. Both subprojects predict the performance of systematic literature search and study and field work with service professionals and specialists in the subject. (AU)
