Abstract

We propose this project to develop a database containing a significant number of writings about the new worlds produced in Europe and Brazil between the thirteenth and eighteenth centuries. The writings (sermons, poems, essays, travel accounts, laws, moral and philosophical reflections, addressed economic, legal and natural sciences, eulogies, etc..), whose digital copies of the first or best editions (if applicable) will be available to be copied by the user, will be arranged in four thematic fields, stored in its own server and accessed from the site of UNESP.
