Abstract

This proposal aims to enable professor Francisco Sierra Caballero's coming and stay in Brazil from 15th March to 1st November 2012, in order to cooperate in São Paulo State University's researches. His stay will cover collaboration in the research projects "The critical mediation: institutional design of intellectual property and diversity for creative industries" and "Cinema, radio and television: a political and economical analysis", as well as advice in the projects "Government portals and the contribution of information and communication to the expansion of citizenship" and "Town halls: political parties and negotiations and clientelism". Professor Sierra will also offer conferences, seminaries and one-week disciplines in UNESP's Communication and Sociology post graduate programs, as well as participating in the examining board of theses, workshops with related research groups from Unicamp and the preparation of a proposal for a Communication Policies CEPID, aiming to obtain funding from Spanish agencies.
