Abstract
The approach into education of health professionals represents a reversal of the usual training focusing on specific professional practices. Thus, the professions learn together about working together and about the specifics of each of the improvement of health care users. The interprofessional education emphasizes teamwork, interdisciplinarity, and commitment to the integrity of actions that must be reached with the widespread recognition and respect to the specifics of each profession. The central theme of this study is the practice and interprofessional education in nursing and health developed with the overall goal of understanding the concepts of interprofessional health education in primary care in the Brazilian context and its relationship with practices. The specific objectives are: to analyze the concepts of interprofessional education in the perspective teachers, students and workers in primary health care and analyze the articulation of interprofessional education concepts and practice in interprofessional work routine primary care. For data collection will be conducted semi-structured interviews with key informants and focus groups with the participation of students from different graduate programs in health, teachers and workers of two basic health units. Data analysis is performed using the technique of thematic categorical analysis of Bardin and triangulation in the light of the theoretical framework of the theory of communicative action, teamwork, interprofessional education and continuing education in health.
