Clinical, neuropsychological and morphological brain features in elderly with attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)- comparison with elderly without ADHD

Abstract

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) manifests itself in childhood and can persist into adulthood, showing all the symptoms or in partial remission. The executive dysfunction as impaired in planning, self-regulation, inhibitory control, problem solving and attentional deficits affecting both the population of children and adults with ADHD. General Purpose: To investigate clinical, neuropsychological profile and comparing standard brain neuroimaging (macro and microstructure) of elderly patients with ADHD and without ADHD elderly. (AU)
