Abstract

Several studies, evaluations and reports have suggested that one possibility to improve the quality of education is to innovate the methodologies and use multiple delivery content of curriculum to students. These innovations are largely associated with the use of technology in education. However, only the modernization of techniques does not guarantee significant improvements and gain at educational process. To better use of ICT in education, we must first understand and validate the methodologies that support and articulate the use of technology as promoter of learning. The major role of a Learning Object is to make the learning process contextualized, playful and interactive, facilitating the understanding of the phenomena studied and helping the teaching practice. Thus, this research intents to develop a set of activities that will be carried out in the Bento de Abreu State School, at the city of Araraquara, to promote the regular use of Learning Objects in the classroom. This activities will be developed in conjunction with the teacher from four disciplines of the curriculum school. We intend to follow-up and evaluate the results and impact of improving quality in learning, using quantitative research methods, about student performance, and qualitative about the process as a whole.
