Abstract

The use of active methods in the learning and teaching process can provide that students and teachers feel as active subjects and perceive the importance of assuming teaching practices in search of quality education, based on the principles and guidelines of the Brazilian Unified Health System. Thus, technological innovation can be a device to facilitate this process. Objective: To develop and validate a digital learning object (DLO) as an auxiliary resource to the professor in the training of student nurse technicians in a teaching institution. Methodology: The project will be developed in three stages. The first will consist of identifying the training needs of technical level students. The students, the coordinators, and the professors of the course, and the undergraduate nursing students will be approached through the use of culture circles. In the second stage will be developed and validated the DLO, from the information obtained in the previous stage, with the active participation of all subjects involved in the study. In the third stage, the DLO will be validated by computer and nursing specialists, coordinators and professors of the technical course considering the appearance, content and ergonomic interface. The students of the technical course and the students of the bachelor degree will evaluate the DLO considering the appearance and ergonomic criteria. Expected results: It is expected that the development of the study provide reflection on the importance of active methodologies in the learning and teaching process and contribute to the teaching practice in the professional education in nursing, facilitating the learning as an auxiliary resource to the professor.
