Abstract

There is an assumption that most of the students`s profile, particulary at Nursing Professional Education Courses, changed in the last two decades. Students of these courses show difficulties in cognitive, emotional and attitudinal learning. It is believed that learning can be sustained and consolidated when the relationship between teacher/student and student/teacher occur effectively throughout the training process. This project has participation of nurses (six included in Masters and PhD Programs at Nursing School, University of São Paulo), who are members of the Cognitive, Emotional and Attitudinal Learning research group, registered at CNPq, with I as a leader since 2008. This project has three subprojects. Subproject 1 - Meaning of attitudinal behavior of teachers and students in learning situations during nursing professional course. Objectives: Identify what means attitudinal behavior to teachers who are working in nursing professional course and describe how the teacher perceives attitudinal behavior of teachers in learning situations; describe how the teacher perceives the attitudinal behavior of students in learning situations and describe how the student perceives the attitudes of teachers in learning situations. Subproject 2 - attitudinal behavior in interpersonal relationships between teacher/student and student/teacher in learning situations in nursing professional course. Objectives: Describe how teacher perceives the interpersonal relationship between teacher/student and student/teacher in learning situations in nursing professional course, describe how the student perceives the interpersonal relationship student/teacher in learning situations and describe how the student perceives interpersonal relationship teacher/student in learning situations; and Subproject 3 - Attitudinal behavior and values of students in learning situations in practice training in nursing professional course. Objective: Describe attitudes and values of students in learning situations in practice training in nursing professional course. In this context we will do an exploratory research on qualitative aspects with reference to the assumptions of Vygotsky, guided by the historical social theory. Will be conducted at Nursing Professional Course schools, with teachers and students. This research will have semi-structured interviews and focus groups instruments. The subprojects 1 and 2 will be analyzed according to the procedures of Bardin and subproject 3 through the technique described by Lefevre, Lefevre Collective Subject Discourse. (AU)
