Abstract

The high prevalence of cardiovascular diseases related to the lifestyle of the population makes multiprofessionals in health education necessary. Educational health education methods, such as group lectures, individualized instructions, games, simulation, role play, self-instruction modules through websites must be developed and applied. In view of the technological growth and the large-scale access to the Internet by the Brazilian population, the development of a website with scientific content with language accessible to the population with coronary artery disease becomes necessary as a complement to health education programs. Objective: to evaluate how to validate a website for patients with coronary artery disease. Method: This is a study with methodological screening. The construction of the site will be based on the following tracking: definition phase where the contents and the form of presentation will be determined, which will be included in the site by literature review, architecture and design phase, where the creation, structuring and testing of the site will be carried out and implementation and evaluation phase where involving the publication of the website on the World Wide Web through from the University's homepage and will follow its evaluation by 10 to 15 experts. The specialists who evaluate the site or the authority, general content, presentation and indicators with grades ranging from 1 to 4, with grade 1 referring to the poor evaluation criterion of 4 excellent. For an analysis of the agreement of the proportion levels below 80% (0.80), taking into account the significance level (±) adopted of 5%. (AU)
