Abstract
The present research is a subproject of the integrated project "The informatics on nursing care system and nursing education: innovation in professional practice ". It is under my coordination and it is part of knowledge construction of the Study and Research Group on Nursing Informatics (NEPIEn), registered at the Directory of research Groups of Brazil. Many relevant issues can be learned and discussed in virtual environments, among them the management of adverse events and urgency and emergency care aimed at the quality of nursing care. The learning process mediated by information and communication technologies is of great importance to expand the concept of the learning environment that is restricted to a physical space, for it possibilities the building of virtual learning environments through computers and digital text, images and sounds. The purposes of this project are: a) to develop an educational software on management of adverse events in nursing; b) to develop a digital learning environment for teaching urgency and emergency care; c) to evaluate by the experts the quality of the products. The methodology to be used is based on the three stages Model for the CAI programs development proposed by Price (1991). The theoretical teaching will be based on Gagné (1980) and Loyolla e Prates (2004) studies, and the target population will be nurses. The evaluation process of the software quality will also follow the norm ISO/IEC 9126. As a result, it is intended to produce audiovisual interactive multimedia with simulations, videos, pictures and animations that facilitates the learning process related to the management of adverse events in nursing and urgency and emergency care. It is expected that the products generate impacts and changes in the teaching-learning process and contribute for the digital inclusion of teachers lacking technological resources directed to the Nursing Education.
