Abstract

Veterinary Forensics is a new area of work for veterinarians. This is an important link between Law and Medical Sciences. Forensics is divided in Tanatology, Traumatology and Forensic Pathology and Toxicology. To prepare Forensic Expert Report is necessary to be clear and focused. Many special laboaratory are neede to support the Witness Testimony Report, and there are few studies and scientific repots that support this acitivity when crimes are commited against animals. The aim of this projetc is to porvide scientific basis for Expert Witness Testimony in Veterinary Medicine, and prepare professionals to work in this area. (AU)
