NPK fertilization of niagara rosada grapevines

Abstract

Three field experiments will be carried out to study the effects of NPK fertilization on Niagara Rosada grapevine from April, 2006 to April, 2008. The experimental design will be an incomplete NPK factorial ½ (4x4x4). The treatments are fractions of recommended fertilizer rates (R) to grapevine in São Paulo, Brazil. The rates of N will be 0, 0.5xR, 1.0xR, and 1.5xR; P rates will be 0, 0.5xR, 1.0xR, and 1.5xR; and K rates will be 0, 0.5xR, 1.0xR, and 1.5xR. Effects of NPK fertilization on grapevine growth, fruit production (amount and quality), plant nutrition and on some soil characteristics will be evaluated. Besides studying grapevine responses, we intend to update fertilizer recommendation for the region of Jundiaí (Brazil). (AU)
