Abstract

The research project is the result of reflections related to the social processes occurring migratory movements that build trajectories of identification / differentiation of the subjects in a new spatiality. These movements, contradictory, are guided in the paradox globalization / regionalization, so the diaspora materializes from the subjects participating in this dynamic and are conditioned by the restrictions, restraints and controls of the displacements, but in the meantime, develop alternatives and resistance that may cover both local and global relationships. The analysis gets to have as a special focus on women, to the extent that these movements and restrictions are linked to gender issues in establishing reference to female migration, the condition of migrant worker's wife, brings together different elements of integration and social relations in this new spatiality. It is considered that the channels of sociability spouse (migrant workers) are spatially and more broadly defined and the woman's a priori, conditional on the household and tend to be dependent on the interpersonal relations of the bridegroom. Results from this perspective to understand how immigrant women can be established in a country that is culturally different, and what are the similarities and differences between the female labor (domestic and foreign) and the processes of identification and social differentiation. It is understood that the deepening of the issues related to immigration from Brazil in the UK from the perspective of Labour and Social Identity, can contribute: a) empirically, in understanding the dynamics of migration and social integration, and b) the plan theoretical and methodological constraints such as spatial processes to identify and define social differentiation of migrant women.
