Abstract

This project is centered in collecting Brazilian data related to the presence of Multilingualism as a subject in academic research, and in the development of a reasonable approach to Multilingual Studies through a critic postcolonial perspective focused on Portuguese speaking countries. To do that I shall work with data mining to gather the data from the internet, computational linguistics to analyze the collected data, postcolonial criticism authors to develop a theoretical approach, and to propose a translation to make a part of this debate - which I consider quite important - freely available for Portuguese-speakers.
