Abstract

Recently, the systematics of anurans has been modified based on DNA sequencing, external morphology and karyotype studies. In some anurans groups, intra- and intergeneric relationships remain uncertain. The goal of this project is provide new characters that can, in association with molecular and cytogenetic data, help to understand the intra- and intergeneric relationships of Pseudopaludicola in the subfamily Leiuperinae and with other Leptodactylidae genera.
