Abstract

The agricultural mechanization is essential in the modern agriculture. Activities as soil preparation, fertilizing, spraying and harvesting are developed with aid of machines. This help to ensure better productivities and allows the cultivation of larger areas. The tractor is one of the responsible by the progress of agricultural activities, observed in the second half of the century XX. The improvement and reliability of these machines provided a revolution in the human activities facilitating the logging of large areas of native vegetation and its economic exploration to production of commodities of agribusiness. Though, the efficiency of the tractor, well as the occurrence of accidents also depends on the level of fatigue to which the operator is submitted. Between the ergonomic factors that affect the operator machine, noise and vibration stand out among the principal, but there are few studies designed to evaluate this parameter and its implications for occupational health. This study aims at evaluating the levels and vibration and noise emitted by agricultural tractors with different powers, comparing the results with existing regulations in Brazil. The tractors studied will be: Massey Ferguson: MF 4292 (engine power of 110 cv at 2200 rpm manufactured in the year 2011), MF 292 TURBO (engine power of 105 cv at 2200 rpm, manufactured in the year 1989), MF 272 (engine power of 76 cv at 2200 rpm, manufactured in the year 1989), MF 275 (engine power of 76 cv at 2200 rpm, manufactured in the year 1996), MF 4283 (engine power of 85 cv at 2200 rpm, manufactured in the year 2012), MF 4275 (engine power of 75 cv at 2200 rpm, manufactured in the year 2011), MF 7415 (engine power of 215 cv at 2200 rpm, manufactured in the year 2012) and MF 680 (engine power of 173 cv at 2200 rpm, manufactured in the year 1997), crowded in Campus Hall Administrative USP Pirassununga.
