Abstract

A pre trial will be held in a hatchery a company matrizeira the State of São Paulo, where eggs are inoculated in 180 days with and without probiotic using as diluent vaccine Marek and applied through injection Embrex brand. At birth, will be assessed the weights of chicks, hatchability, mortality. Furthermore, it will be assessed the Biometrics 15 birds / treatment, and of these 5 birds / treatment will be used for histomorphological analysis and microbiological (Salmonella Control). The treatments are as follows: T1: chicks from eggs inoculated with the vaccine only Marek, T2: chicks from eggs inoculated with vaccine containing probiotic Marek and T3: chicks from eggs inoculated with vaccine only Marek and sprayed after selection of commercial probiotic-containing solution (the same used for in ovo inoculation). The field experiment will be conducted in the experimental shed FMVZ-UNESP/Botucatu, using 960 day-old chicks Cobb ® males housed with a population density of 12 birds / m², for 42 days. The feeding will be divided into four phases: pre-starter (1-7 days), initial: (8-21 days), growth (22-35 days) and late (36-42 days). The experimental design is a completely randomized design with three treatments and eight replicates (boxes) of 40 birds each. At 7, 21, 35 and 42 days will be assessed the effect of probiotic on Biometrics and Enteral Histomorphology, Scanning Electron Microscopy Cecal and Performance. In the challenge test with Salmonella, 45 birds will be housed in a completely randomized design with 3 batteries with 15 chickens each, infectório Department of Pathology FMVZ being used the same treatments of the field experiment. The birds will be challenged on the 3rd day of life through oral inoculation sample of Salmonella enterica subspecies enterica serovar Enteritidis, sorotipada and fagotipada Adolfo Lutz Institute in São Paulo-SP, mutant resistant to nalidixic acid (Nal) and rifampicin (Rif) developed by successive crops brilliant green agar (AVB) containing nalidixic acid (100g/ml of medium) and rifampicin (100g/ml medium) as Andreatti Filho et al, 1997 to facilitate subsequent bacterial enumeration. At 7, 21 and 35 days will be assessed the effect of probiotic on Biometrics and Enteral Histomorphology, Scanning Electron Microscopy of Ceco, Performance and Control of Salmonella. (AU)
