Abstract

This project focuses on the synthesis and characterization of solid-state co-crystals obtained from some anti-inflammatory and co-formers.The co-crystals will be obtained through mechanochemical methods (solvent assisted by grinding), with the aid of a ball mill, and also by crystallization in solution, by using solvents and/or solvent mixtures.The characterization of co-crystals will be made through the following experiments: Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) with microscope system, absorption spectroscopy in the infrared region (FTIR) and X-ray diffraction techniques (powder method and single crystal). It is expected this way to obtain co-crystals capable of promote an improvement in the physico-chemical properties of the antibiotics drugs used for this study. (AU)
