Abstract

This project to be performed by Rolf Jeltsch visiting the Applied Mathematics and Statistics Department (SME) of ICMC-USP is planned as phase 0 of a larger project. Here we present first the outline of the larger project. This larger project is planned as a collaboration between members of SME and the Seminar for Applied Mathematics at ETH Zurich, in particular Rolf Jeltsch and Siddhartha Mishra. At the end of the description of the larger project we indicate the work to be done in phase 0. (AU)
