Abstract

The project will be developed during the years of 2013/14 a 2017/18 in the experimental area of the Teaching and Research Farm belonging to the Faculty of Engineering of Single Island - UNESP, located in Selvíria - MS. The soil type is Ferralsol epi-eutrophic of clayey texture, originally under cerrado vegetation. The average annual rainfall is 1370mm, the average annual temperature is 23.5 º C and relative humidity annual average between 60 and 80%. The project consists of four subprojects involving crops of corn, beans, "winter", upland rice and wheat, and each subproject will be installed in two growing seasons. The goal will be to study the effect of cover crops, intercropping and crop nitrogen management in no-tillage system in the development and production of these crops and chemical changes (organic matter) soil after four years of cultivation.
