Abstract

During Prof. Mieczyslaw Lapkowskis' visit at IQSC-USP it is expected to continue the collaboration initiated four years ago under the Biomolec project FP7-People program. For his next visit, it is proposed to continue the research on both ionic-conductive membranes based on natural macromolecules and thin films for application in electrochemical devices. The main goal is to straight this collaboration through the scientific discussions with Prof. Lapkowski in order to find new solutions for the development of electrochromic devices with which we are working since 1993. Although, recently we succeeded in developing of new electrochromic device and the non-aqueous natural-polymer-electrolyte, this last due to the collaboration with Prof. Lapkowski there is always the curiosity and expectation to find other and better solutions. Thus, we believe that sharing experiences with recognized expert Prof. Lapkowski can contribute significantly to our research. Moreover, during Prof. Lapkowski visit the research collaboration started 4 years ago will be continued enabling the elaboration of new scientific articles. It is also expected that Prof. Lapkowski offer seminars on advances on the conducting polymers research field and start to collaborate with Prof. Dr. Carla C. S. Cavalheiro from IQSC-USP. (AU)
