Abstract

Immune Risk Profile has been gaining attention on the aging, with numerous studies related to immunosenescence revealing significant association between this profile and increased functional limitations and mortality in the population after 60 years. Research has shown that immunological and nutritional changes of aging, specifically with changes in the response of T lymphocyte cells, are associated with the capacity limitation of the immune system to organize an efficient response to aggressors, resulting in increased susceptibility to infections.
