Abstract

The main goal of this Project is to develop of a methodology to study electronic transport in 3D-Topological Insulators. Even though these materials have been characterized at length via ARPES techniques, there are still many challenges in the interpretation of transport experiments. The cooperation with Prof. Lewenkopf via his visit to our group will be extremely fruitful to develop a methodology to include disorder and/or chemical potential fluctuations in the calculations of transport properties in topological insulators.
