Abstract

his proposal presents the needs and justifications of EERP-USP for use of the share of technical reserves of projects supported by FAPESP in 2015, totaling R$ 96,632.00.EERP-USP has the Research Support Center - CENAPq, which has acted in order to provide technical support to researchers and Research Groups to meet the demands and needs identified in the unit. The establishment of CENAPq attended a target set in the Unit aiming to strengthen its research structure in order to support its researchers. The Center has a physical and functional infrastructure, made up of own space within the Institutional Support Section of the Unit, an administrative technician trained by FAPESP for research support, a specialist graduate in statistics and a specialist providing research support to the specific issues of database development, sampling, statistical analysis etc. The Center also counts with professors with expertise and experience in research who periodically offer training and seminars for qualification of the faculty for research. The demands and needs identified at EERP-USP for the use of the Institutional Technical Reserve are articulated around four main axes which reflect the projects presented here. The first axis is directed towards the Modernization of the EERP's Maintenance Vivarium, with a view to comply with the regulations of the Ethics Committee on Animal Use (CEUA). The second axis is aimed at updating research tools, while the third axis focuses on supporting research related to teaching aimed at expanding the use of different information and communication technology tools (ICT) directed to education and research at EERP-USP. The fourth axis is aimed at strengthening collaborative research.This set of actions will support the various areas of research in the unit, expanding the scope of resource use. (AU)
