Abstract

This 10th volume of the PROCAM collection of articles by students and their advisors coincide with the 25th anniversary of the creation of the graduate program of environmental science, one of the graduate programs of the Institute of Energy and Environment represents the continuity of an academic initiative that has as its main goal to present the outcomes of masters dissertations and thesis produced by our masters and PhDs. This has been a continuous process since the first volume in 1998. It is to recall that all articles published are in co-authorship between the student and its adviser and in some cases with co-adviser. This has been the trend of the collections, and indicates an important means of dissemination of the outcomes of the researches. The texts here gathered approaches different thematic were organized as to contemplate contents associated to biodiversity, environmental governance, water governance, participatory practices and environment, environmental formalism, vulnerability and environmental impacts, public policies and climate change and education and the environmental discourse. The collection strengthens the premise that the traditional logic that preside the way that knowledge develops demands new readings and interpretations, and this implies in a rethinking of scientific knowledge and the need of approaches that confront complexity and to overcome the existing obstacles to deepen interdisciplinary pratiques.
