Abstract
This project aims to evaluate the effect of tactile stimulation in dairy cows Gyr in pre-partum on behavior, production and reproduction of cows during lactation and additionally to employ precision techniques (infrared thermography and reticular-ruminal transponders) to evaluate reproductive events (estrus and calving) and the behavior of cows. The experiment contains two treatments, one with tactile stimulation before calving (treatment group) and another with no training (control group). It Will be used about 60 primiparous and multiparous cows from Getúlio Vargas Research Farm, EPAMIG - Uberaba-MG. Behavioral, physiological and hormonal traits will be measured in two groups of cows. Additionally, the experiment should employ precision techniques for monitoring reproductive events, as calving and estrus of cows through rumen-reticulum temperature sensors and infrared thermography (TIV).
