Abstract

This project intends to study some aspects of the representation theory of algebras related to the affine Kac-Moody algebras, their generalizations and hyperalgebras. The main goal is to investigate properties on finite-dimensional representations of current and loop algebras (hyperalgebras) and truncated current algebras, with emphasis on local Weyl modules. It is also intended to consider Demazure modules and global Weyl modules to explore the relationship they have with the local Weyl modules. (AU)
