Abstract

This project presents a method proposal for assessment of results and impacts of agricultural technologies developed by the Instituto Agronômico (IAC). The objective is to guide IAC research programs and to be accountable to the society. The Genetic Improvement Program of the Passion Fruit will be used as a case study. In this work we will also propose a set of indicators to assess the diversity of the R&D results of IAC and other specific product group - the IAC Passion Fruit technologies. The IAC has several research centers and various kinds of R&D results, representing the diversity and complexity of the organization. The proposal of a method for assessment of results and impacts is challenging. This proposal should also allow adaptation to the diversity of the R&D results of IAC.The development of methods for assessing results and impacts is an important organizational innovation, because the IAC does not have this kind of method formalized.
