Abstract

This proposal aims to develop two instruments for biomagnetic studies based on an optically pumped magnetometer (OPM), two research platforms will be developed for magneto physiological signal measurements for small animals and magnetic markers. A system for heart signals measurements of chicken embryos along its evolution will developed. Another platform will be developed for magnetic markers based on the use magnetic nanoparticles, commercial and synthesized in the laboratory, and the use magneto relaxation measurements for determining the concentration of these particles in different systems. In this first phase, only in vitro studies will be conducted and after all testing and certification in vivo studies shall be proposed and carried out in other projects. (AU)
