Abstract

The imagistic record has experienced significant mutants processes since the advent of digital technology. These changes were initially responsible for several criticisms regarding the fidelity of such records, especially photographic, when they failed to adopt photochemical bases for both. By technological limitations, photography has also held a supporting status for more than a decade in digital journalism, just following the texts. However, this reality goes through a turnaround. Currently, there are several technologies that promote not only the high quality picture recording from digital devices, but also turn them into key message in multiplatform reporting and / or transmedia. This research, exploratory, plan to study from a methodological complex comprising basically bibliographical research and participant observation, the effects and the changes of paradigms in the field of contemporary photojournalism, which shares with the audiovisual and textual not only the look and the communication process, but also its very existence. This is a continuation of the project developed with support from FAPESP under case number 2015 / 19135-9, this time seeking answers from laboratory media. Expected to obtain, with the completion of this study, subsidies for the development of new visions and concepts related to the journalistic photo-registration in the new ecology of media, able to understand their use as anchor message in contemporary reports.
