Abstract
A media convergence and digital immersion scenario evidences the increasing relationship approach between consumption and production, and this leads to the speed we can observe3within communication field's changes. So, inside this context, the transmedia storytelling concept emerges, a modality that intends to tell stories just like we put puzzles together, observing and using the more appropriate and different languages, devices and platforms to build and interactive and user personalized path. However, we cannot see a big presence of this type of storytelling when talking about the documentary gender, despite its potential and possibilities within the field, and so as inside the communication one. Therefore, the intention is to investigate the transmedia documentaries' production process and script, pointing out essential traces and evidencing new perspectives and obstacles. For that, it will be selected a theoretical basis and developed a demand analysis, complemented by movies' analysis and a description of procedures involved in a transmedia documentary's development. Lastly, a transmedia documentary will be produced, experimenting the processes described and observed during the previous study's phases, with a proposition of testing its viability and construction as a narrative and tool typical of new communication experiences. In the future, will be presented a stage with the professor Lorenzo Vilches, Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona (Spain), director of Master Degree in Screen of Cinema and Television, interested in participate on the research.
