Collaborative management of disaster risk: application and risk management system for more resilient cities, citizens and companies

Abstract

The project "collaborative management of Disaster Risk: application and risk management system for cities, citizens and businesses more resilient" proposes the development of a mobile application and a web platform for risk management (floods, lightning, rain and wind) from the issue of advance warnings to the public (B2C) and for companies and Government agencies (B2B). The product will be developed for greater São Paulo with potential expansion to other urban areas and/or potentially subject to the risks covered. The project has the support of the CEMADEN (National Center for natural disaster monitoring and alerting), the Civil Defense in the State of São Paulo and AES Eletropaulo. Inside the smart cities concept products will allow public participation collaboratively with a feedback system tool. The project counts with the participation of researchers from the University of São Paulo (USP), UNIFESP (Universidade Federal do Estado de São Paulo e USP (São Carlos) (AU)
