Abstract

The Sorocaba-UNESP Institute of Science and Technology currently has 4 research groups, with activities in the environmental area, control and automation engineering, materials sciences and clean technologies. It is built in about 9000 m2, in order to meet the new demands of the Unit, especially those related to the Research Groups. In this context, the main demands / needs related to research on the Campus were discussed, and the Campus Congregation approved the use of resources related to the FAPESP-2015 Institutional Technical Reserve to meet the following collective demands of the Unit: A) access control and monitoring systems for the Research Labs; B) structuring of the Mechanical and Warehouse Workshop, c) structuring of the Multiuser Laboratory for Analysis and Characterization of Campus Samples.
