Abstract

Between 1946 and 1961, Raymond Williams participated intensely in the adult education movement that existed in England, under the direction of the University of Oxford. The resultes were essays, syllabus, a periodicals and even a film, which he produced in partnership with other colleagues, all of them survivors of the Second World War. In Brazil, despite William's popularity in academic circles, the sources documents about him and adult education are still barely known. The objective of this research in the field of social sciences in education is to collect this material, analyse, interpret and publish it in Portuguese. (AU)
