Abstract

The biomagnetism studies the biologic system though magnetic field detection and use different kinds of sensor for this purpose. The alternate current biosusceptometry (ACB) use magnetic induction coils for measure ferromagnetic materials response and obtain the biologic properties. The ACB application is basically concentrate in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract studies. The ACB implementation with anisotropic magnetoresistive sensor (ACB-AMR) was consent new perspectives and approaches by magnetic technique in the GI tract. The purpose of this work is to develop an ACB-AMR 25-chanels instrumentation to evaluate the gastric activity contraction, a side by side ACB-AMR system for study of the esophageal transit time, a prototype for magnetic feeding tube localization, over there study for ACB-AMR improvement in term of the sensibility and price cut. This purpose aim respectively enhanced the number of the sensors for study gastric motility and consent magnetic images acquisition, to provide a alternative method for evaluate the esophageal transit and relate a accurate biomagnetic technique for feeding tube localization. In summary, this work embraces development of the new instrumentation and approaches by low cost for subsidize will application on pharmacological, physiological and in the medical clinic. (AU)
