Abstract

The aim of this project is to study linear dynamic systems with time-varying parameters that have bounded rates of variation. Methods for stability analysis, control synthesis and filter design for this class of systems will be developed, possibly taking into account performance criteria, nonlinearities, uncertainties, delays and structural constraints in the model. The main tools will be parameter-dependent Lyapunov functions and linear matrix inequalities.
