Abstract

The wandering phenomenon related to migration, poverty, unemployment and social disaffiliation it is a common characteristic at the present time and can radically be noticed in the case of highway wanderers: subjects that walk on foot through the brazilian highways without certain course or definite destination and unknown practically for the public political of social attendance. The present paper aims to analyze how the managers and professionals of some attendance institutions in São Paulo State perceive this complex contemporary phenomenon and what the guidelines followed to the aid of these subjects.
