Abstract

The present work has as its main aim to find evidences that prove the existence of a performance pattern of the Brazilian troops in international peacekeeping operations. Through a methodological process which includes study cases, followed by the collection and analysis of primary and secondary data, the description of the Brazilian military forces' performance model in peace operations will be carried out. Based on this model, positive and negative aspects of the pattern that was found will be analyzed. This project will serve as input to improve the capacity of the Brazilian troops in its preparation for future Peacekeeping Missions. In this way, a contribution for the excellence of the performance of the Brazilian troops in peace operations is expected.
