Abstract

Photoaging and skin câncer are know pathologies associated to UV radiation on the body. Sunscreens are designed with the aim of reducing the harmful effects of UV radiation, however the incidence of skin cancer increases every year around the world, requiring new strategies to reduce the UV damage. Given these facts, the purpose of this study is to synthesize a mutual prodrug of a sunscreen and an antioxidant molecule in order to reduce the harmful effects of UV radiation.
