Abstract The objective of this project is to understand the land's policy's role on social interest housing production done by the government of the municipality of Curitiba, focusing on Curitiba's Housing Company actions.The object of study is the relation established between urban land's price and the housin public policy in the municipality of Curitiba.The intention is to verify, throughout Curitiba Housing Company's history how the land's price influenced or was influenced by the municipal housing policy and how this relation was decisive or not for the choices made on localization and typologies created for popular (low income people) housing. It is also considered relevant the discussion whether if efficient mechanisms or tools were created to widen access to housing and urban land. (AU) | |
