Abstract

This research project aims to raise the correct empirical data in matters of the environmental Supreme Federal Tribunal jurisprudence, the highest judiciary court in Brazil.From the knowledge of the content of the supreme tribunals decisions during the periodo of 1988 to 2008, concerning judicial review, it is belived that it will be found a basis for the resoluiton of principles based conflicts in the brazilian legislative system .
