Abstract

The implementation of the nursing process represents changes in various dimensions of nursing work from the point of view of workers as the organizational point of view. For this study, we selected variables that theoretically could be associated with attitudes towards the nursing process, influencing and being influenced by the implementation and operation of the nursing process. Whereas nursing staff such as nurses, technicians and auxiliary nurses, this project aims to describe the attitudes of nursing personnel facing the nursing process, and the perception of power of nurses. Analyze associations between attitudes towards the nursing process and the following variables: gender, age, place of work, time and degree. Analyze associations between the attitudes of nursing staff regarding the process of nursing and perception of power for change and quality of work life. It is descriptive exploratory study of cross-sectional design to be developed in the state of hospital care linked to the Health Coordinator of the Secretariat of Health of São Paulo. Was defined sample of 328 nurses and 373 auxiliary and sampling will be done so that they are represented all hospitals and wards in the study. Questionnaires translated and validated as Positions on Nursing Diagnosis and Power of Knowing Participation in Change. The data will be analyzed using descriptive statistics. Analytical statistics will be applied to test possible associations between the characteristics of operation of the nursing process and the variables selected. The results of this project will contribute to the knowledge of the nursing process, as yet no empirical data on the factors associated with their operation, and also serve as elements to guide decisions of local policies and central organization of nursing care.
