Abstract This research project intends to develop a theoretical model for emerging networks in digital environments, such as the blogosphere or the twitterverse, which are referred as a historical outcome of the public opinion. The model is based upon the clustering of messages and users within the digital media matrix - a network scaling that will be addressed by the main purpose of this research: the concept of netclustering. The research will use the microblogging service Twitter as a emerging network to test the model. This hypothesis of research requires a massive gathering of data (which is already on course) and extended computational analysis performed by the software MATLAB. The results will provide a simulated model that should converge to the theoretical model hereby designed. | |
