Abstract

Categories such as Memory and Time, Being and Narrative are mobilized in favor of building a dynamic, technologically mediated sphere between the Singular and the Transversal. The connections between the real and the virtual reconfigure or re-present the narratives (singular or transversal) constituting a definite "Place of Memory". This place is re-presented as an object that manifests itself as well as becomes na operational level between theory and empiricism, as a place for new practices, projects and care. To reach this result, the research requires collaborative local initiatives, community-led (especially on Facebook). Digital media becomes an experience of creation and ownership by the community of memory related to Batatuba - Piracaia / SP. There is this character and the intrigues of his brilliant career: Jan Antonin Bata. Legacies, objects, land, memories, the factory: the dialogic and digital mediation proves to be effective as the theoretical work translates into the manufacturing of new memories, identities and narratives, in a language game between the singular and the transversal narratives that updates the memory and contributes to the postulation of new narratives and projects.
