Abstract

Nanoscale systems present new physical and chemical properties. In particular noble metal nanoparticles such as gold and silver have stood out because of the properties related to the oscillation of electrons in the conduction band of the metal to interact with light. In this context, this project aims at studying and applying the unique properties of metal nanoparticles in the development of materials for storage and energy production and sensing. (AU)
