Abstract

The project consists in the study and application of the Random Survival Forests technique, introduced by Ishwaran et al (2008). The main objectives are: to compare the random forests technique with the traditional survival methods and to evaluate the possibility of using this methodology to analyze data from patients with endocarditis.
